Reid yields on filibuster for now, but presses new rules for nominees

Senate Majority Harry Reid said he would stop attempts to change the Senate's filibuster rules "at this stage" -- but is pursuing procedural changes on how the chamber considers new legislation and how low-level nominations proceed, The Washington Post reports.
